Why is insulation important?
Here at NIC we can help you to design and install insulation systems that will immediately conserve energy by reducing heat loss or gain. This will enable pipe work / plant to be maintained to a process temperature at a pre-determined value.
NIC can offer advice and assistance to establish a suitable specification to ensure the process temperature can be achieved. It is important that insulation type and thickness is suitable and sufficient to limit the heat loss / gain specific to your requirements.

The Right Insulation Specification can Prevent Condensation on Cold Surfaces
Specifying a sufficient insulation thickness with a good vapour barrier is the most effective means of controlling condensation and limiting corrosion on cold pipes, ducts and chillers. It should be noted that sufficient thickness would be required in order to keep the surface temperature above the dewpoint temperature of the ambient air; NIC will be able to advise of the most appropriate specification for this.
